NNPCF Steering – short news updates

The NNPCF Steering have some short news updates that they would like to share with you all.

• Some of the NNPCF Steering Group members recently met with senior figures of the Department of Work and Pensions. This was our first meeting with them and we discussed the role of the NNPCF and how we might work together in the future.

• The NNPCF Steering Group will be meeting with Edward Timpson, Minister at the Department of Education on Tuesday 15th March 2016. We will be raising common themes that Parent Carer Forums have shared with us.

• The NNPCF Steering Group, along with a number of other parent carers, have been invited to meet Jane Ellison, the Parliamentary Under Secretary for Public Health, to help develop closer engagement.
