We want your nominations

This Autumn we want your nominations for our first ever Bromley Parent Voice Awards to help us shout about and celebrate the countless things special people in Bromley do to care for our children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Shine a well-deserved spotlight on families, service providers, carers, school staff or anyone that makes a difference to our families.

Nominate friends, family members and professionals in one or more of the nine Bromley Parent Voice Award categories by; Friday 30th November 2018.

Award Categories

  • The BPV Parent Carer Award – We want to hear about you or someone you know and the amazing things they do to make sure their child with SEND can take part in everyday life.
  • The BPV Sibling Award – Tell us about the often unseen but great things siblings do for their brother or sister with SEND or that help make mum and dad’s lives just a little bit easier.
  • The BPV Rock Award – Your opportunity to tell us all about all the wonderful and everyday things grandparents, extended family and friends do for your family.
  • The BPV Proudest Moment Award – Big or small, this is your chance to tell us about the challenges your child with SEND has overcome that fill you with pride and make you smile.
  • The BPV Family Champion Award – For professionals who have gone that extra mile to champion the causes of families with SEND children.
  • The BPV Parent Power Award – For an individual parent carer, local parent group, charity or local parent carer forum who have campaigned to make life better for families with SEND children.
  • The BPV Community Champion Award – For the local company, restaurant, café, leisure centre or activity provider that has provided effective, fun and exciting services for London Borough of Bromley families with SEND Children and Young People.
  • The BPV Lasting Legacy Award – Awarded for substantial and lasting contributions to the children and young people aged 0-25 living in the London Borough of Bromley.
  • The BPV Star of The Year 2019 – For the individual child or young person with SEND who has blown us all away by achieving something incredible.

Short-listed families will be invited to a very special awards ceremony and reception at The Bromley Court Hotel on Saturday 26th January 2019. Bromley Parent Voice is all about families with SEND children and young people and we want to truly celebrate their lives and the contribution they make.

This is a fantastic opportunity to give someone special the recognition they truly deserve.

How to nominate

  • Complete the Form below and submit.
  • Fill out form the nomination form and scan or email it back to us.
  • For a nomination form by e-mail or for a paper copy to be sent to you by post, please e-mail info@bromleyparentvoice.org.uk or ring Pip or Atikah on 07803 287838.

The deadline for completed nomination forms is Friday 30th November 2018.
