PACT TRAINING – SUPPORT FOR BEHAVIOUR THAT CHALLENGES

Aug 23rd – Civic Centre 09:45 – 14.30 guest – Mrs Tyler, behaviour specialist of Autism at Gretton School in Cambridgeshire – this is an additional date only being provided if there is sufficient demand

Bromley is offering a training course delivered by Personal Awareness Consultancy & Training (PACT), accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD), which will assist parents/carers in supporting their children/young people to manage behaviours that challenge. The course will cover both theory and practical ways to manage and prevent behaviours that challenge, including disengagement techniques, Positive Behaviour Support planning and trigger words to avoid.

Lunch will be provided.  Please note: the trainer requests that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear. NB: the training is for one session only and BOTH PARENTS are welcome to attend.
