Parent Champion for Employment

We are delighted that Bromley Parent Voice will be working with the LB Bromley to develop a vision and employment pathway for young people with Special Educational Needs or disabilities.

As part of this work Bromley Parent Voice is seeking a parent carer who would be willing to act as Parent Champion who will work with the LB Bromley, voluntary community sector and local employers to increase awareness and potential opportunities for young people with special educational needs or disabilities to find employment (paid or voluntary) when they finish their education.  Please click here for further information.

You will need to be available to attend the initial workshop to agree a vision and employment pathway which will take place on Monday 25th January in the afternoon.

LB Bromley have also set aside one place on forthcoming training for the parent champion.   The dates for the training are:

Job Coach Training – 5 day course to be held at Bromley College

15th, 16th, 18th, 19th February 2016 and 9th March 2016

Training in Systematic Instruction – 3 day course to be held at Bromley College

5th, 6th & 7th April 2016
