Reforms for children with SEN and disabilities come into effect, 1st September 2014
The biggest education reforms in a generation for children and young people with special educational needs became law on Monday 1 September 2014.
The Children and Families Minister, Edward Timpson,chose the Phoenix Centre and Bromley to launch the new SEND reforms nationally. Read here the press release giving full details.

BPV representatives and parents had the opportunity to talk with the Minister, Councillors and Senior Officers across Education, Health and Care.
We would also like to say an extra big thank you to Edward Luff, 7, who has autism, who did a fantastic job presenting flowers to the Minister. It was a moment to remember for all the right reasons.
