The role of the parent representative is to inform decision makers about the experiences of parents and to ensure that parent’s views are fed into decisions about services for disabled children and young people at a strategic level. Parent representatives should represent the views of all parents.
The London Borough of Bromley are changing the way in which they engage with service users through their Partnerships for the Future project. We are delighted that the Local Authority recognises the value of working with parent carers and will continue to work with Bromley Parent Voice to seek our views as we influence service planning and delivery.
Bromley Parent Voice have a number of parent representatives who work on your behalf across Local Authority operational and strategic groups.
Any key issues arising out of these meetings will be fed back to members of Bromley Parent Voice via our website.
