Meetings & Events

Further meetings and events will be arranged once the Phase 3 grant has been received.

•  The Hawes Down Centre Information & Consultation Event - Monday 19 July 1-3pm and 4- 6pm.  Come along to find out more about the proposals for a new multi-agency resource centre with facilities for children and young people with a disability or additional need.  There will also be the opportunity for parents, carers and young people to share their thoughts with service providers about how the centre might be best used for short break provision in the future.  For more information please click here.
•  'Parents Are Special Too'  We are very excited to announce the launch dates of the new parent support groups 'Parents are Special Too' at four of the Children & Family Centres (CFC’s) in the London Borough of Bromley:

        BLENHEIM          Monday 28 June 1-3pm      

        BURNT ASH       Monday 28 June 1-3pm

        MOTTINGHAM    Tuesday 29 June 12.30-2.30pm

        CHURCHFIELDS  Friday 2 July 1-3pm 

These groups will be run by parents for parents weekly.  A free creche is available (places must be booked in advance with the Children Centre Co-ordinator). Light refreshments will be provided at all sessions.  For more information please click here.  The groups will provide parents with the opportunity to discuss issues, receive information and share experiences. 

The groups are being supported by Bromley Parent Voice, Localised Services and the Specialist Support & Disability Service.
