Bromley MyLife: helping people make informed choices about their lives
Mylife are pleased to announce that they have published two major developments on the Bromley MyLife website for:
- Adult social care and support
- Children & young people with special educational needs & disabilities
Adult social care and support
As part of the implementation of the Care Act, a number of new pages have been developed around the new social care eligibility criteria, the assessment process and paying for care. We have also better promoted the new Adult Care and Support Directory for 2015/16.
The new pages can be found at http://bromley.mylifeportal.co.uk/careandsupport-beta.
Children & young people with special educational needs & disabilities (the ‘Local Offer’)
Following feedback from parents and carers, young people, and professionals, we have rebuilt the structure of this section of the website around the following five age bands – pre-school (aged 0 to 5); children (aged 5 to 11); young people (aged 11 to 14); young adults (aged 14 to 25); and adults (aged 25 and over).
The new pages can be found at http://bromley.mylifeportal.co.uk/localoffer-beta.
Tell us what you think
- Both sets of pages have been launched in beta phase (public testing) and we are really keen to get feedback from people to keep improving the website. So, if you have any ideas, comments, feedback, issues, etc., you can either send them to us care and support directory through the site feedback box or e-mail them to email@example.com.
